A- AVIT Service Desk:
Improved Process for a Better Customer Service Facility
AVIT has successfully established a new upgrading for its Maintenance and
Technical Support Service which contributed to facilitating the call handling
procedures while offering 24/7 Customer Support.
AVIT dedicated call center will eliminate any chance of having
an abandoned call for customers of the airport since there would always be an
agent on demand receiving inquiries, requests and troubleshoots, classifying
them and escalating problems to the responsible engineers to take necessary
AVIT Service Desk Advantages:
AVIT Service Desk new facility would enable the tracing of customers’ problems
including problem repetition, time taken to solve the problem as well as the
solution derived so that all customers could effectively manage and monitor the
performance of their assets.
Having a record for each customer would enable the Service Desk Team to provide a
better service through being pro-active about the problems that might face
their customers and have a fast response towards any trouble shooting
Customers could either contact the Service Desk through the Service Desk Number
6960696 or simply send their problems or inquiries to the Service Desk by e-mail
to email@example.com (including customer’s name, phone number,
address as well as problem description) and the call would be replied back with
the same efficiency.

Supporting Software and Equipments:
An IP phone has already been installed and tested at Cairo International
Airport Terminal 1 with an extension number 1622. The IP Phone that connects
directly to the Service Desk acts as a Hot Line between the customer and the Service
Desk Agent who immediately replies the call and takes the necessary action.
Dedicated extension numbers would be available for the external airports to
facilitate contact with the Service Desk without the need to subscribe for an
